Martin Luther King Jr

Martin Luther King Jr.was an african american man who wanted peace and equality for all people. His argument consist of why the way "negros" were treated was wrong and ilogical for the wellness of humans. His argument also contained, "it wouldbe fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment". This is showing how he really wanted things to change for the better of his nation.

Martin goes on to say, "but there is something that I must say to you my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the place of justice".He continues to say,"In the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds".He concludes his pathos with,"let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitternesss and hatred"(MLK 7). The effect intended from this speech is sympathy and wrong doings. He doesn't want the people to just change because he said so, he wants them to do the right thing from the goodness of their hearts.

Yes, MLKJ had great ethos. obviously he is a trustworthy man because all those people that believed in what he was saying followed him to the end. Even when the end consequence was jailing for some they still went on. He's also a very believable just because of what i know from past knowledge prior to this assignment. He never stirred the people in the wrong direction even though at some points it was very dangerous but they didnt care because they trusted MLK to get them to the end, and thats exactly what he did. The way MLKJ took those

  1. 1. Yes there is a correct MLA heading.
    2. You have produced a creative and bold title.
    3. There is plenty of information of MLKJ background and waht he does.
    4. Yes you have cited the quote correctly and is imbedded within the sentence. There is good pathos, but maybe a little more commentary would help.
    5. Yes i agree that MLKJ has developed ethos and is credibilty for presenting his speech. you have an adequate amount of information and it makes me believe everytihing you say.
    6. [deeds".]- the period should be in the quotes. [The way MLKJ took those ]- this is an incomplete sentence. [moment". ]- period within the quote. [i]- capital I.
